How long will my caramel apples stay fresh?

Katie’s Caramel Apples are best when eaten right away, but will stay fresh for at least 3 weeks. It is recommended (but not necessary) that you keep your caramel apples in the refrigerator to keep the caramel in place and keep the chocolate from melting. Simply remove your apples from the refrigerator 1 hour before slicing so the caramel can return to its soft gooey state.
